The Software & Information Industry Association Taps Triumvirate Content Consultants to Lead Intensive Workshop on Monetizing Data

Glen Ridge, New Jersey – October 17, 2017 – Triumvirate Content Consultants (TCC) -- today announced that its president, Paul Gerbino will be teaching publishers and technology and marketing executives how to raise the value of their organization’s content and turn it into a high margin, recurring revenue stream in the U.S. and overseas.

The Software & Information Industry Association (SIIA), the leading association representing the software and digital content industries, is hosting its fourth annual Business Information & Media Summit (BIMS) on November 13-15, 2017 in Fort Lauderdale, FL. This year’s Summit brings together top publishing, technology and marketing executives for an intense focus on the strategies companies are using to stay competitive, profitable and relevant in a quickly-changing business landscape.

Paul Gerbino will be conducting a 3-hour intensive workshop entitled: Understanding Content as Revenue Generator Beyond Core Products on November 13th. The hunt is on to raise the value of content and turn it into a high margin, recurring revenue stream. But the type of content that’s in demand—and the way that it’s being sold--is changing. Mr. Gerbino will be conducting a crash course on how to capitalize on content licensing opportunities – specifically:
  • Assessing Your Opportunity: What can you sell? Text articles are still valuable but no longer king—today the content that is really in demand ranges from data to research to video. Participants will learn how to do an audit of their existing assets to identify what can sell and where new opportunities reside.

  • Go-to-Market-Strategies: How to market and how to deal. Attendees will learn how to set pricing for different types of content, how to structure deals that boost the bottom line by creating recurring revenue streams and crafting contracts that maximize revenue and protect copyrights.

  • Going Global: Why global markets are an untapped opportunity. Foreign markets, particularly Asia, are hungry for top notch business content and willing to pay a premium. Attendees will learn how to set up a pipeline for global content sales.

Both are not always obvious,” he added
